85th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 22 October, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues reviewed the amendments submitted to the bills on the agenda of the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2018.


The Committee found all 567 amendments submitted to the Bill on Construction Products to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

All of the 72 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Planning and Construction were also found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Of the 107 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Building Legalization Law, the Committee rejected the ones submitted to articles 5, 15, 17 and 21 by MPs Branislav Mihajlovic, Ratko Jankov, Ana Stevanovic, Branka Stamenkovic and Sasa Radulovic, as well as those submitted to articles 14, 15, 16 and 17 by MPs Branislav Mihajlovic, Ratko Jankov, Ana Stevanovic, Branka Stamenkovic and Sasa Radulovic as incomplete.

The Committee members found all of the 130 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Air Transport Law to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Of the 64 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Transport of Dangerous Goods, the Committee rejected the one submitted to Article 33 by MP Ruzica Nikolic, while the rest were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

All of the 39 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Investigation in Air, Rail and Water Traffic Accidents were also found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all of the 69 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Road Transport of Passengers to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The MPs had submitted a total of 69 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on National Affiliation and Registration of Vessels which the Committee found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members also found all of the 64 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Maritime Navigation to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Milena Corilic, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Vesna Markovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Krsto Janjusevic, Dr Balint Pasztor and Bojan Torbica.
