82nd Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 23 December, before moving onto the agenda, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending unanimously accepted the proposal of Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic to conduct a joint debate on all the items on the agenda and that the Committee first rule on the amendments the submitter accepted and then on the ones the submitter did not accept.


The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 61 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Taxes on Using, Holding and Carrying Goods.

The MPs had submitted 104 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, out of which the Government and the Committee accepted two – to Article 11 and Article 17 of the Bill.

Out of the 10 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Capital Market, the Government and the Committee accepted one – to Article 3 of the Bill.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 37 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Corporate Income Tax Law.

Out of the 134 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law, the Government and the Committee accepted one – to Article 42 of the Bill. The Committee also submitted an amendment of its own to Article 25 of Bill amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law.

Out of the 22 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Compulsory Social Insurance Contributions, the Government and the Committee accepted one – to Article 3 of the Bill.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 12 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Republic Administrative Fees.

The Government and the Committee also did not accept any of the 24 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill on Assumption of Obligations of Public Enterprise Srbijagas Novi Sad toward Petroleum Industry of Serbia JSC Novi Sad and Transformation of Said Obligations into the Public Debt of the Republic of Serbia.

The MPs had submitted six amendments to the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Societe Generale Bank Serbia JSC Belgrade to Settle the Obligations of Public Enterprise Srbijagas Novi Sad under the Long-Term Loan Contract for the Construction of Distribution Gas Pipeline Aleksandrovac – Brus – Kopaonik – Raska - Novi Pazar – Tutin, but the Government and the Committee accepted none of them.

The sitting was attended by Committee members Radmilo Kostic, Goran Kovacevic, Milos Tosanic, Momo Colakovic, Suzana Sarac, Zoran Bojanic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Dragoljub Zindovic, Olivera Pesic and Zika Gojkovic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic.
