80th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 26 September, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments submitted to a number of bills on the agenda of the 10th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature.


Of the 615 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, the Committee found 21 not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, two were rejected as incomplete, while the rest were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Of the 38 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education, the Committee found one, the amendment submitted to Article 9 not to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while the rest were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all of the 20 amendments submitted to the Bill on Professions of Special Interest for the Republic of Serbia and the Conditions for their Performance to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Dejan Sulkic, Vesna Markovic, Krsto Janjusevic, Srbislav Filipovic, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Petar Petrovic and Milena Corilic.
