76th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 25 June, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments submitted to the bills on the agenda of the Eighth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature.


The Committee found 582 of the 583 amendments submitted to the Bill on War Memorials to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all 164 of the amendments submitted to the Bill on Simplified Employment for Seasonal Jobs to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members found all four of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Employment of Foreigners to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all 29 of the amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Requirements for Assignment of Employees to Temporary Work Abroad and their Protection to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Of the 130 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Financial Support to Families with Children, the Committee rejected 20.

Of the 21 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Fundamental Rights of Veterans, Disabled Veterans and Families of Fallen Soldiers, the Committee found 18 to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all nine of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Rights of Veterans, Disabled Veterans and Members of their Families to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Of the 73 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Peaceful Resolution of Labour Disputes, the Committee rejected 20.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Krsto Janjusevic, Srbislav Filipovic, Bojan Torbica, Ivan Manojlovic, Balint Pasztor, Petar Petrovic, Milena Corilic and Jasmina Obradovic.
