71st Sitting of the European Integration Committee


At the sitting held on 15 January 2020 and closed to the public, the European Integration Committee reviewed and gave a positive opinion to the Proposal of the Negotiating Position of the Republic of Serbia for the Intergovernmental Conference on the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union for Chapter 27 – Environment and Climate Change.


The Proposal of the Negotiating Position for Chapter 27 – Environment and Climate Change was presented by Minister of Environmental Protection Goran Trivan, State Secretary and President of the Negotiating Group for Chapter 27 Ivan Karic and Negotiating Team member Prof. Dr Mirjana Drenovak Ivanovic.

The Committee appeals to all the relevant institutions in the Republic of Serbia to invest additional efforts into environmental protection so as to improve the quality of life of the citizens of Serbia.
