70th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 6 June, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to the Bills on the agenda of the Sixth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature.


Of the 564 amendments submitted to the Bill on Protection of Financial Services Consumers in Distance Contracts, the Committee rejected two submitted to the title of the Bill and found the rest to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all 107 of the amendments submitted to the Bill on Financial Collateral to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Of the 93 amendments submitted to the Bill on Interchange Fees and Special Operating Rules for Card-Based Payment Transactions, the Committee rejected three as incomplete and found the rest to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members found 15 of the 40 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Payment Services, not compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia and the rest were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members found 20 of the 90 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia, not compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia and the rest were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members found all 87 of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Company Law, as well as all of the 60 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Bankruptcy Law, to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Elvira Kovacs, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Petar Petrovic, Milena Corilic and Jasmina Obradovic.
