65th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 22 July, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Enforcement and Security, submitted by the Government, in principle.

The sitting was attended by assistant ministers of justice Jelena Deretic and Jovan Cosic and, following a brief discussion, the Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Enforcement and Security, in principle.

Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic informed the Committee members that he had established a Working Group for civic initiatives, petitions and proposals of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government. Committee member Nedjo Jovanovic was appointed Working Group Chair, and Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic and Sreto Peric Working Group members.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Slavisa Bulatovic, Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Jovan Palalic, Djordje Komlenski, Zarko Micin, Dr Balint Pasztor, Biljana Pantic Pilja and Marko Parezanovic.
