63rd Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
At the sitting held on 12 February, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the requests of the Republic of Serbia Energy Agency and the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media for consent to employ new staff and the Report on the use and disposal of National Assembly funds in the period January-December 2015, submitted by the National Assembly Deputy Secretary General.
The Committee members decided to grant consent to the request of the Republic of Serbia Energy Agency to employ new staff.
The Committee also reviewed the request of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media for consent to employ new staff, elaborated by Olivera Zekic, member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media. The request concerns the employment of three new staff members.
The Committee members decided to grant consent to the request of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media to employ new staff.
The Committee members then went on to discuss and, by majority vote, accept the Report on the use and disposal of National Assembly funds in the period January-December 2015, submitted by National Assembly Deputy Secretary General Branko Marinkovic. Marinkovic reported that in said period the National Assembly had spent about 84% of its budget, adding that the National Assembly 2015 budget was quite restrictive, in accordance with the Serbian Government’s austerity measures.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Zoran Babic and attended by Committee members Djordje Milicevic, Aleksandar Markovic, Dr Obrad Isailovic, Dr Dragana Barisic, Adriana Anastasov, Milisav Petronijevic, Sasa Maksimovic, Dusica Stojkovic and Natasa Vuckovic.
