56th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 21 May, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the three amendments submitted to the Railway Bill by the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications, and declared them compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.


The Committee also considered the four amendments submitted to the Bill on Patients’ Rights by the Health and Family Committee, and declared them compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee went on to consider the 17 amendments submitted by the MPs and one amendment submitted by the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government to the Bill on the Publication of Laws and Other Regulations and Acts. The Committee declared all the amendments compliant with the Constitution and legal system, except for the three amendments submitted to articles 2, 18 and 19 of the Bill. The Committee rejected these amendments having ascertained that they do not comply with article 196, paragraph 3 of the Constitution.
The Committee also considered the two amendments the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Criminal Procedure Code and declared them compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by MA Vladimir Cvijan, Committee Chairman.
