53rd Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee

At the sitting held on 7 February, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee considered the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Activity Information for the fourth quarter of 2019.

Zeljko Radosevic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, presented the Activity Information saying that in the reporting period the Ministry had adopted five regulations and 19 rulebooks and significantly advanced bilateral cooperation as evidenced by the signing of a number agreements. He also spoke about the successful international cooperation and activities of Minister Branislav Nedimovic. Radosevic added that in the reporting period the Agricultural inspection sector’s officials had successfully conducted 3981 inspections.

The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Republic Water Directorate, Directorate for Agrarian Payments, Plant Protection Directorate, Veterinary Directorate, Forest Directorate and Directorate for National Reference Laboratories.

Following a debate the Committee members adopted the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Activity Information for the fourth quarter of 2019.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Miladin Sevarlic, Dr Ljubinko Rakonjac, Milija Miletic, Olena Papuga, Mladen Lukic, Tijana Davidovac, Zvonimir Djokic, Veroljub Matic, Arpad Fremond, Radovan Jancic and Marko Zeljug.
