52nd Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
At the sitting held on 3 July, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed and granted consent to the request of the Anti-Corruption Agency for the employment of eight new staff members and for additional recruitment.
The Committee then proceeded to discuss the Secretary General’s notifications on the reprimands issued to maintain order at the 10th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015 and decided to issue fines to MPs Zoran Zivkovic, 10% of his base salary, Balsa Bozovic, 20% of his base salary, and Dragan Sutanovac, 10% of his base salary.
The Committee members then went on to discuss the criteria for the issuance of reprimands at the National Assembly sessions, and Committee member Borislav Stefanovic suggested that the practice of chairing National Assembly sessions should be harmonised.
Committee Chairman Zoran Babic opined that the National Assembly Collegium should meet more often and suggested that the matter should be discussed at one of the upcoming Committee sittings.
