50th Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee
At the sitting held on 3 March, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee reviewed the results the Committee had achieved during the 2014 legislature.
The Committee members opined that the Committee had fully contributed to the National Assembly’s work and efforts concerning agriculture. They also criticised the competent ministry among other things for not taking the Committee’s recommendations into consideration, and complained of the media’s lack of interest for the Committee’s work and agriculture-related topics.
The Committee members thanked the National Assembly Support Service for its cooperation and constructive assistance, hoping that the Committee would be able to do more for the Serbian agriculture in the new legislature. The Committee Chairman wished the future opposition to be more active, since in the current legislature the Committee was open to all of their suggestions.
Finally, the Committee members decided that Chairman Marijan Risticevic be its representative in the Veterinary Council in the coming period.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic and attended by Committee members and deputy members Miroljub Stankovic, Slobodan Peric, Mladen Lukic, Vladan Milosevic, Nadica Nikolic Tanasijevic, Velimir Stanojevic, Veroljub Matic, Milija Miletic, Zoran Antic and Miodrag Nikolic.
