At its forty-ninth sitting, held on 13 April, the Finance Committee endorsed the nomination of Ljiljana M.
At its forty-ninth sitting, held on 13 April, the Finance Committee endorsed the nomination of Ljiljana M. Dmitrovic Saponja for membership on the Council of the State Audit Institution, made by the G17 Plus Deputies’ Group.
The Committee adopted the Proposal of the Decision to institute a public procurement procedure for external audit services for final balances of the budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2002, 2003 and 2004, as well as the Proposal of the Decision to institute a public procurement service for the final balance of the budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2005, to be forwarded to the National Assembly for passage. Under the proposed Decisions, the National Assembly is to authorise its secretary to initiate the restrictive procurement procedure. An eight-member Public Procurement Commission is to be formed to oversee the process; Sanja Cekovic has been nominated for the office of its chairperson.
