45th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 24 October, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated, in principle, on the bills proposed for the agenda for the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2017.

The Committee members found the Bill on Dual Education, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Preschool Education, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Primary Education and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Secondary Education, submitted by the Serbian Government, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members also found the Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement (Inclusive Early Childhood Education and Care Project) between the Republic of Serbia and the International Reconstruction and Development Bank, Bill on the Confirmation of the Convention on Nuclear Safety, as well as the Bill on the Confirmation of the Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and Safety of Radioactive Waste, submitted by the Government, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Vesna Markovic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Krsto Janjusevic, Srbislav Filipovic, Bojan Torbica, Balint Pasztor, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Petar Petrovic and Milena Corilic.
