43rd Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality

At the sitting held on 10 May 2016 and closed to the public, the Committee on Human andMinorityRights and Gender Equality deliberated on and gave a positive opinion to the Proposal of the Negotiating Position of the Republic of Serbia for the Intergovernmental Conference on the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union for Chapter 24 – Justice, Freedom and Security.

The sitting was attended by Committee members: Ljiljana Malusic, Milanka Jevtovic Vukojicic, Vladica Dimitrov, Aida Corovic, Elvira Kovacs, Ljibuska Lakatos, Vera Paunovic, Zlata Djeric, Dubravka Filipovski and Nevenka Milosevic, deputy member.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Meho Omerovic.
