30th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 19 November 2021, the members of the Culture and Information Committee considered the Republic of Serbia 2022 Budget Bill, Section 29 - Ministry of Culture and Information.


The Republic of Serbia 2022 Budget Bill, Section 29 - Ministry of Culture and Information was presented by representative of the Ministry of Culture and Information Rade Vojinovic who said that the 2022 allocation has been increased by 16.23% compared to 2021.

The total budget for Section 29 - Ministry of Culture and Information is 14,770,854,000 RSD, while 13,741,160,000 have been allocated for item 01 – general budgetary income and revenues.

The biggest increase compared to this year went to the funding of libraries, museums and the Serbian Ortodox Church, as well as a significant increase in funds allocated in aid of musical art development, as well as production and artistic creation, support to investors producing audiovisual works in Serbia.

Following a brief discussion, the members of the Culture and Information Committee proposed, by majority vote, that the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending accept the Republic of Serbia 2022 Budget Bill, Section 29 - Ministry of Culture and Information.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Sandra Bozic.
