22nd sitting of the Gender Equality Committee
The Gender Equality Committee held its twenty-second sitting on 22 February. The sitting was chaired by Zivodarka Dacin, and attended by the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, Slobodan Lalovic, officials of the Serbian Government’s Gender Equality Council, as well as OSCE representatives.

The sitting saw the presentation of the draft Gender Equality Bill, to be presented to the National Assembly by a group of deputies. It was agreed that the draft Bill should be considered by both the Assembly and the Ministry; special attention should be paid to harmonising the draft Bill with other legislation. After any modifications are made, the deputies are to present the Bill for inclusion into Assembly procedure.
