22nd Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality

At the sitting held on 3 October, the members of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality deliberated on the Bill on the Confirmation of the Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption.

The Bill was elaborated by Brankica Jankovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, who stressed that the Convention is one more measure for the protection of children without parental care.

The Committee members unanimously adopted the Bill on the Confirmation of the Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Meho Omerovic.
