The Committee accepted four of the 510 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill. In view of the fact that the Committee had organized a public hearing on the Bill attended by NGOs, the Committee went on to submit amendments of its own to articles 1, 4, 5, 13, the heading above Article 16 and to Article 16, the heading above Article 19 and to Article 19, articles 22, 47, 56, 68, 74, 100, 10, 135, 153, 183, 193, 207, 215, 216, 233, 235, 236, 246 and 249 of the Bill on Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Ivana Stojiljkovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dusko Tarbuk, Milena Turk, Radoslav Cokic, Jasmina Karanac, Aleksandra Jevtic, Petar Jojic, Milena Corilic, Borka Grubor and NGO representatives via the Green Chair mechanism. The sitting was also attended by representatives of the Serbian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency.
