18th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 24 February 2023, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments to the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Manner of Financing and Drafting of Project Technical Documentation, Conduct of Administrative Procedures for Environmental Impact Assessment, Issuance of Location Conditions, Consents and Construction Permits for Project “Hydrotechnical and Excavation Works on the Arrangement of Critical Waterway Section – the Confluence of the Drina and Sava”, submitted by the Government.


Two amendments had been submitted to the Bill, viz. to the title and Article 1, by MPs Marina Lipovac Tanaskovic and Djordje Stankovic.

The Committee found both amendments to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milica Nikolic, Sanja Lakic, Dr Zika Bujuklic, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Olja Petrovic, Zoran Tomic, Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Nenad Mitrovic, Ljubinko Djurkovic, Pavle Grbovic and Dubravka Kralj.
