162nd Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 17 December, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues reviewed the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Healthcare Law, Bill modifying the Law on Health Insurance and the Bill modifying the Law on Medical Documentation and Records.


The Committee members found all 26 of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Healthcare Law to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found the two amendments submitted to the Bill modifying the Law on Health Insurance to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The MPs had submitted 14 amendments to the Bill modifying the Law on Medical Documentation and Records. The Committee found that the identical amendents submitted by MPs Vladimir Pavicevic and Zoran Zivkovic to Article 2 of the Bill do not comply with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia. The Committee found the rest of the amendments to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairperson Biljana Hasanovic Korac, and attended by Committee members Branka Jankovic, Dragan Polovina, Veroljub Arsic, Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Nedjo Jovanovic and deputy members Jelisaveta Pribojac and Zivan Djurisic.
