At the sitting, it was noted that all the Committee members have received the Government’s Conclusion on the adoption of the Instructions for representatives of the state authorities of the Republic of Serbia at regional cooperation meetings attended by representatives of the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government in Pristina.

As part of its authority to monitor the construction of the legal system in the Republic of Serbia, the Committee was briefed on the Constitutional Court Decision regarding the Law Establishing Authority of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. It was asked how the decision of the Constitutional Court affects the legal system of the Republic of Serbia. It was concluded to continue the discussion on the topic at one of the next sittings when all the Committee members have familiarized themselves with the material received.

The Committee was briefed on a number of initiatives to launch proceedings to estimate the constitutionality and compliance with confirmed international treaties and generally accepted rules of international law of some provisions of the law and decided to rule on them at one of the next sittings.
