On the second day of the proceedings, 26 May 2021, the National Assembly commenced a debate in principle on item 3 on the agenda – the Bill on Protection of Trade Secrets, presented by Minister of Economy Andjelka Atanaskovic.
In the course of the workday, at the proposal of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, the National Assembly noted the termination of the term of office of MP Jelica Sretenovic before the expiry of the term she was elected for, on the day she tendered her resignation.
For the remainder of the day the National Assembly conducted and concluded the debate on the Bill on Protection of Trade Secrets.
On the third day of the proceedings, 27 May 2021, before moving on to the agenda, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Milija Miletic, Marija Jevdjic, Dr Nina Pavicevic, Natasa Mihailovic Vacic and Nebojsa Bakarec, requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
Based on the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission and the Report of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, pursuant to Article 27 paragraph 5 of the Law on Election of MPs, the National Assembly noted the verification of the term of office of MP Radovan Arezina, elected from the IVICA DACIC – “Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), United Serbia (JS) – Dragan Markovic Palma” Electoral List, after which the new MP took the oath of office.
The National Assembly then completed a debate in detail on the Bill amending and modifying the Identity Card Law.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker MarijaJevdjic set Thursday, 27 May 2021, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda of the 13th Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021, starting at 7.05 pm, after the part of the sitting reserved for parliamentary questions, between 4 and 7 pm, pursuant to Article 205, paragraph 1 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
