12th Sitting of the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction
At its 12th sitting, on 18 November, the Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction discussed two bills on the agenda for the Eighth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014.
The Committee members deliberated on the Bill on Employment of Foreigners, in principle, which was elaborated by Assistant Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Ljiljana Dzuver.
Following a short debate, the Committee members accepted the Bill on Employment of Foreigners, in principle, by majority vote.
The Committee members went on to discuss the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on the Status of Serbian Military Memorials on the Territory of the Russian Federation and Russian Military Memorials on the Territory of the Republic of Serbia. Ljubisa Velickovic of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs provided the rationale for the Bill.
The Committee members accepted the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on the Status of Serbian Military Memorials on the Territory of the Russian Federation and Russian Military Memorials on the Territory of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was chaired by Dr Vesna Rakonjac, Committee Chairperson.
