11th Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At the sitting held on 18 January, the European Integration Committee considered, in principle, four of the bills submitted by the Government and included in the agenda for the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly in 2013.
The proposed bills were elaborated by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.
Following the discussion in which the MPs commented on and asked questions about the bills, the Committee adopted, in principle, the Bill on Stimulation of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bill on Nationality and Registration of Vessels, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Trade and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Trademarks.
Committee Chairperson Milica Delevic informed the Committee members about the meeting of the Improved dialogue European Union-Serbia, to be held on 29 January 2013, which will, among other things, discuss the work of the National Assembly and its working bodies and civil control of security services, while the Seventh Interparliamentary Meeting Serbia-European Union will be held on 17 and 18 March in Brussels.
