11th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 6 April 2021, the members of the Culture and Information Committee ruled on the motion to launch proceedings for the nomination of candidates for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media.

Committee Chairperson Sandra Bozic informed the Committee members that on 22 December 2020, Slobodan Cvejic tendered his resignation to the post of member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media. As Cvejic had been elected member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media at the proposal of the competent committee of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Bozic said that the Committee is obliged to launch proceedings for the nomination of candidates by said authorised nominator.

The Committee the formulated the text of the public call for the nomination of candidates for the election of member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media to be published on the National Assembly website, and once the procedure for the establishment of a list of candidates for the election of member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, the election of member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media is to be placed on the agenda of the very next National Assembly sitting.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Sandra Bozic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milica Obradovic, Zeljko Tomic, Aleksandar Cotric, Aleksandar Jovanovic, MA Jadranka Jovanovic, Milos Terzic, Rozalia Okresz, Natasa Mihajlovic-Vacic, Ivan Tasovac, Jelica Sretenovic and Snezana Paunovic.
