116th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 17 July 2019, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to the bills on the agenda of the 14th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature.


The Committee found all of the eight amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Settlement of Public Debt of the Republic of Serbia arising from Unpaid Citizens’ Foreign Exchange Savings Deposited in Banks with Headquarters on the Territory of the Republic of Serbia and Branch Offices on the Territory of Former SFRY Republics to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found all of the 59 amendments submitted to the Bill on Trade to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the 14 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Commerce.

Of the 37 amendments submitted to the Bill on Commodity Exchange, the Committee members found all, except the amendment submitted to Article 37 by MP Nikola Savic, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Vesna Nikolic Vukajlovic, Bojan Torbica, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Aleksandra Majkic, Vesna Markovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Bajro Gegic, Elvira Kovacs, Vojislav Vujic and Milena Corilic.
