10th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 24 February 2023, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee considered the following bills submitted by the Government:

  1. Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Gabon in the Field of Science, Technology, Education and Culture,
  2. Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini on Cultural and Educational Cooperation,
  3. Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Romania on Cooperation in the Field of Education, Science, Culture, Media, Youth and Sport,
  4. Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on the Establishment of Culture and Information Centres.
On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the bills were presented by Bojan Cvetkovic.

The Committee adopted the bills by majority vote.

The Committee went on to consider the standing delegations’ regular activities and noted the realised parliamentary and other contacts. The Committee also noted the changes in the composition of the parliamentary friendship groups with Argentina, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Egypt, Italy, Hungary, Mali, Mexico, Germany, Poland, Romania, the United States of America, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Switzerland, the UK and Montenegro.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Borko Stefanovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Andrijana Avramov, Marina Ragus, Draginja Vlk, Jelena Obradovic, Ana Miljanic, Dubravka Filipovski, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Nemanja Joksimovic, Zoltan Dani and Predrag Marsenic.
