109th sitting of the Legislative Committee
At its one hundred and ninth sitting, held on 3 April, the Legislative Committee discussed and assessed as in principle legally possible the Bill on Prevention of Discrimination against Disabled Persons, the Rehabilitation Bill, the Amnesty Bill, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Planning and Construction Act, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Mining Act.
At its one hundred and ninth sitting, held on 3 April, the Legislative Committee discussed and assessed as in principle legally possible the Bill on Prevention of Discrimination against Disabled Persons, the Rehabilitation Bill, the Amnesty Bill, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Planning and Construction Act, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Mining Act.
Also assessed as legally possible were the Bill on the Ratification of the Agreement Concluded Between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Montenegro and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Mutual Assistance and Co-operation in Customs Matters, the Bill on the Provision of Counter-Guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro for a Loan made by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to Fund Reconstruction of a Section of the Belgrade – Novi Sad Motorway, the Bill on the Provision of Counter-Guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro for a Loan made by the European Investment Bank to Fund a School Improvement Project, the Bill on the Provision of Counter-Guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro for an International Development Association Loan for the Development of an Irrigation and Drainage Rehabilitation Project for Serbia, the Bill on the Provision of Counter-Guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro for an International Development Association Loan (Serbia and Montenegro – Project for Serbia), and the Bill on the Provision of Counter-Guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro for an International Development Association Loan to Fund a Consolidated Collection and Pension Administration Reform Project. The sitting noted that one amendment each to the Bill on Prevention of Discrimination against Disabled Persons and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Planning and Construction Act were withdrawn from procedure. Two amendments to the Rehabilitation Bill were rejected, as were another three to the Amnesty Bill. Also rejected were four amendments submitted to the Bill on the Provision of Counter-Guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro for a Loan made by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to Fund Reconstruction of a Section of the Belgrade – Novi Sad Motorway, three submitted to the Bill on the Provision of Counter-Guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro for an International Development Association Loan (Serbia and Montenegro – Project for Serbia), and six submitted to the Bill on the Provision of Counter-Guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro for an International Development Association Loan to Fund a Consolidated Collection and Pension Administration Reform Project. Three amendments submitted to the Mining Bill were rejected as not having been filed in due time; all other amendments submitted to all the remaining bills were assessed as legally possible.
