108th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 17 May, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments submitted to the bills on the agenda of the Fifth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2019.


Of the 44 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Criminal Code, the Committee members found all except the one submitted to Article 16, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members found all four of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Criminal Procedure Code, as well as all 90 of the amendments submitted to the Bill on Prevention of Corruption to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found the two amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Seizure and Confiscation of Proceeds from Crime and the 17 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Execution of Criminal Sanctions to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Petar Petrovic, Aleksandra Majkic, Dr Dragana Barisic, Vesna Markovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Dr Balint Pasztor and Milena Corilic.
