Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie

Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie represents a place for debates, exchange of proposals and opinions about various topics such as: liberties and political rights, parliaments and communication, Francophone economic area, education, and the status of French language in international organizations. In close cooperation with the International Organization of La Francophonie, the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie undertakes activities in the area of inter-parliamentary cooperation and the development of democracy aimed at the strengthening of solidarity among the parliamentary institutions and at promotion of democracy and the rule of law.

A plenary session is organized once a year.

Our country has been a permanent observer since 2008.

  • MA Jadranka Jovanovic, Head of the National Assembly standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF), took part in the 43rd plenary session of the APF in Luxembourg, 9-11 July 2017, marking the 50th anniversary of the multilateral parliamentary organization.

  • Sabina Dazdarevic, member of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie (APF), took part in the 28th regular session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie for the European region, in Jersey, UK, from 12 to 16 October 2015.
