At the thirty-eighth sitting, held on 27 March, the Administrative Committee adopted the refined text of the Decision on deputy reimbursement.

At the sitting, the Committee adopted the proposals of the decisions on fines for the measures pronounced to deputies for the violation of order at the First Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009, seventh sitting of the Agriculture Committee and thirty-sixth sitting of the Administrative Committee.

The Decisions on the fines came after the National Assembly Speaker, i.e. Chairperson of the First Sitting of the National Assembly had already pronounced measures for keeping order at a sitting to the deputies, viz. first reprimand, second reprimand and denial of floor in line with articles 105, 106 and 107 of the Rules of Procedure. Deputies were reprimanded once and then a second time by the Chairman of the Agriculture Committee at the sitting held on 23 January 2009, and the Chairman of the Administrative Committee also reprimanded certain deputies at the sitting held on 5 March 2009.

The Administrative Committee accepted the Decision Proposal that the funds collected from fines paid by deputies be used for humanitarian purposes. A decision was passed to allocate 200 thousand dinars to an ill pupil from Cacak, 100 thousand to a six-member family from Vrbas and 106 thousand dinars for the purchase of vehicles for the transportation of children with special needs in Vranje Municipality.

Regarding deputy Petar Jojic’s complaint to the fine, the Administrative Committee took into consideration the National Assembly Speaker’s explanation and adopted a new decision reducing the fine to three thousand dinars.

The Committee members considered the complaint of Tamas Zoran, member of the State Audit Institution, to a decision of the Administrative Committee on which they shall vote at the next sitting.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Nenad Konstantinovic.
