On the second day of the proceedings, 17 March, the National Assembly conducted and concluded a single debate on the Proposal of the Decision on the 2021-2025 Official Statistics Programme, submitted by the Government.
The Decision Proposal was presented by Tatjana Matic, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, as representative of the submitter.
By the end of the day the National Assembly also completed a joint single debate on items 3 to 6 of the agenda.
On the third day of the proceedings, 18 March 2021, before moving on to the agenda, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Prof. Dr Jahja Fehratovic, Dr Muamer Bacevac, Marija Jevdjic, Djordje Milicevic and Aleksandar Mirkovic, requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
Afterwards, based on the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission and the Report of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, pursuant to Article 27 paragraph 5 of the Law on Election of MPs, the National Assembly noted the verification of the term of office of MP Predrag Milosevic, elected from the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – FOR OUR CHILDREN Electoral List, after which the new MP took the oath of office.
The MPs then proceeded to commence a debate on the amendments submitted to Bill on Climate Change. The sitting was attended by Minister of Environmental Protection Irena Vujovic.
By the end of the day the National Assembly completed the debate in detail on the Bill on Climate Change.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr Vladimir Orlic set Thursday, 18 March 2021, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda of the Third Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021, starting at 5.15 pm.
Voting Day
On Voting Day, 18 March 2021, the National Assembly adopted the Bill on Climate Change, submitted by the Government.
The MPs also passed, by majority vote, the Proposal of the Decision on the 2021-2025 Official Statistics Programme, submitted by the Government, and the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Establishment of the Composition of the Standing Delegations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to International Parliamentary Institutions, submitted by the National Assembly Speaker.
The National Assembly also adopted the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of the Committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, with correction, submitted by the “Aleksandar Vucic – For Our Children” Parliamentary Group, Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of the Committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the SOCIALIST PARTY OF SERBIA (SPS) Parliamentary Group, and the Proposal of the Decision modifying the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of the Committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the JUSTICE AND RECONCILIATION PARTY SPP - UNITED PEASANT PARTY USS Parliamentary Group.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda and ruled on them, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic concluded the Third Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021.
