Third Sitting of the Election Campaign Supervisory Board

The Election Campaign Supervisory Board held it third sitting on 14 November 2023.


At the sitting, Election Campaign Supervisory Board considered the information concerning the actions of the participants in the election procedure, supplied by the members of the Supervisory Board.

Proceeding from Article 146, paragraph 1 of the Law on the MPs, the Election Campaign Supervisory Board expresses its concern about the actions of all participants in the election process and especially media content aimed at discrediting election participants based on political conviction or membership in a political organisation and on the violation of moral the integrity of the personality of election candidates.

The Election Campaign Supervisory Board appeals to the participants of the election process and to all the media reporting on it, in order to protect the moral integrity of the candidate's personality, to refrain from inciting hatred and attacking the candidate's personality.
The supervisory board calls on the competent authorities to contribute within their powers to the suppression of activities that threaten the regularity of the election process.
