Third Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 20 October 2022, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered in detail the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Ministries, submitted by 148 MPs.

Of the 78 amendments submitted to the Bill, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues had rejected 12 as incomplete and one, to Article 1 of the Bill, as insulting.

Pursuant to Article 163, paragraph 4 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, these 13 amendments cannot be subject of debate or voted on, so the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government discarded them and considered the remaining 65.

Following a brief debate, the Committee proposed, by majority vote, that the National Assembly reject all 65 of the amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Ministries.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Vladimir Djukanovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dijana Radovic, Svetozar Vujacic, Prof. Dr Jelena Jerinic, Danijela Nestorovic, Djordje Komlenski, Dragan Jovanovic, Andrijana Vasic, Arpad Fremond, Vladimir Gajic, Miodrag Gavrilovic, Momcilo Vuksanovic and Marijan Risticevic.
