Third Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality

At the sitting held on 27 December 2024, the members of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality considered the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue activity information for the period January – March 2024, April – June 2024 and July – September 2024.

The Committee members accepted the proposal of Committee Chairman Aleksandar Markovic to complete a joint debate in principle on all the items on the agenda.

The activity information was presented by Tomislav Zigmanov, Minister of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue.

Following a discussion the Committee members accepted the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue activity information for the period January – March 2024, April – June 2024 and July – September 2024.

The Committee members went on to decide that Committee Chairman Aleksandar Markovic should be the candidate for member of the Commission for the Control of the Execution of Criminal Sanctions.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Markovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nenad Ristovic, Slavica Radovanovic, Lepomir Ivkovic, Dr Tijana Peric Diligenski, Prof. Dr Mirka Lukic Sarkanovic, Dragana Radinovic, Igor Jakšic, DSc. Dr Rastislav Dinic, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Boris Bajic and Mladen Grujic.
