Third Parliamentary Green Forum: Ready for Climate Change
Following the parliamentary Green Forum, Environmental Protection Committee Deputy Chairman Ivan Karic announced that he would be suggesting that the Environmental Protection Committee organize a public hearing on “Climate change as Serbian reality”.
The third parliamentary Green Forum titled “Ready for climate change” was attended by NGO representatives and experts on climate change. Zvezdan Kalmar of the Centre for Ecology and Sustainable Development, Srdjan Matovic of the Aarhus Centre Kragujevac, Djordje Samardzic of the One Degree Serbia organisation and Iva Markovic on the behalf of the Green Youth of Serbia spoke at the Forum, sharing experience and informing the MPs on the impact of climate change, as well as adaptation and mitigation in Serbia.
