The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Dragan Marsicanin, convened, at the request of 103 deputies, the Third Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2004 for 10 a.m. on Tuesday 17 February 2004.

At this session the National Assembly is to discuss proposals of Decisions Repealing the Decision on the Election of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia and the Decision on the Election of the President and Members of the Council of the National Bank, submitted by 72 deputies, as well as proposals of Decisions on the Election of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia and on the Election of the President and Members of the Council of the National Bank, submitted by the Finance Committee of the National Assembly.

The agenda also contains the Bill Amending the Act on the Election of the President of the Republic, submitted by deputy Dejan Mihajlov, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Election of the President of the Republic, submitted by 82 deputies from the Serbian Radical Party Deputies’ Group, as well as the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Election of Deputies, submitted by 53 deputies from the Democratic Party of Serbia Deputies’ Group.

The deputies are also to discuss the proposal of the Decision on the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Republic Electoral Commission and their Deputies, submitted by deputy Dejan Mihajlov, and the proposal of the Decision on the Nomination of the Vice-secretary of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Administrative Committee of the National Assembly.
