The Fortieth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 28 December, the Legislative Committee considered the amendments submitted to the Bills on Territorial Organisation of the Republic of Serbia, Local Self-Government, Local Elections and the Capital City.



At the sitting held on 28 December, the Legislative Committee considered the amendments submitted to the Bills on Territorial Organisation of the Republic of Serbia, Local Self-Government, Local Elections and the Capital City.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Vlatko Ratkovic.

The Committee deemed all the amendments submitted to the Bill on Territorial Organisation (15 in total), as well as the 53 amendments submitted to the Local Self-Government Bill legally feasible.

The Committee went on to deem all the amendments submitted to the Local Elections Bill (26 in total), as well as the 17 amendments submitted to the Capital City Bill legally feasible, that is in line with the constitutional and legal system. The Committee proposed that the National Assembly adopt all the amendments submitted to these four bills.
