At its tenth sitting, held on 24 December, the Finance Committee discussed in detail the Bill on the Budgetary System and the Bills amending and modifying the Income Tax Law for citizens, amending and modifying the Income Tax Law for companies and amending and modifying the Law on Republic Administrative Fees.

At the beginning, the sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Jorgovanka Tabakovic, while the rest of the sitting was chaired by the Committee Deputy Chairman, Radojko Obradovic.

The sitting was attended by the Minister of Finance, Mirko Cvetkovic, and associates on the behalf of the submitters.

The Finance Committee and the Government of the Republic of Serbia rejected all 54 amendments submitted to the Bill on the Budgetary System. The Government also submitted six technical amendments to the Bill which the Committee accepted.

The Members of Parliament submitted nine amendments in total to the Bill amending and modifying the Income Tax Law for citizens which were not accepted by the Government and the Committee, while the Committee accepted one amendment, which became the Committee’s amendment.

The Members of Parliament submitted 19 amendments in total to the Bill amending and modifying the Income Tax Law for companies which were not accepted by the Government and the Committee. The Government submitted four amendments to the Bill which the Committee accepted.

Out of the 13 amendments in total submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Republic Administrative Fees, the Government and the Finance Committee accepted two amendments by Members of Parliament.
