Talks with Norwegian Parliament Speaker

Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Nataša Micic and chairpersons of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Culture and Information Committee, Nada Kolundžija and Ivan Andric, held talks today at the Serbian Assembly with a delegation of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Norway, headed by Speaker Jorgen Kosmo.


Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Nataša Micic and chairpersons of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Culture and Information Committee, Nada Kolundžija and Ivan Andric, held talks today at the Serbian Assembly with a delegation of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Norway, headed by Speaker Jorgen Kosmo.

Chairperson Nataša Micic acquainted the guests with the intensive efforts the Assembly has put in so far in the legislative ordering of the changes, as well as with upcoming activities connected with the passage of a large number of reform acts. She also expressed thanks for the support and assistance given by Norway so far.

The Norwegian Parliament's Speaker Jorgen Kosmo stressed that he was impressed with the results achieved in the short fifteen-month period, and expressed the Norwegian Parliament's support for the fortification of democratic changes. The participants in the talks exchanged opinions on issues pertaining to the redefinition of relations between Serbia and Montenegro and to the ratification of the Constitutional Charter. The talks especially centred on the establishment of cooperation between the two parliaments.
