Talks with European Parliament Deputy Chairman
Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Nataša Micic and Deputies Nada Kolundžija and Vlatko Sekulovic held talks today at the National Assembly with the Deputy Chairman of the European Parliament Guido Podesto.

Expressing her thanks for the support provided by the EU so far, Chairperson Nataša Micic assessed this meeting as the continuation of talks with the European Parliament with the aim of furthering cooperation and getting closer to the EU. At the same time, she acquainted her guest with the National Assembly's very intensive activities in the sphere of legislative reform.
The participants in the talks agreed that Yugoslavia needed further support and closer ties with the European Parliament as well as with European countries' parliaments, and that it would be very important to accelerate the process of stabilisation and integration, in order to make up for time lost in the previous period.
