The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, acting President of the Republic of Serbia, spoke to June Zeitlin, OSCE Special Representative on Gender Issues for the duration of the Republic of Ireland’s chairmanship.
Serbia is the first country June Zeitlin is visiting as OSCE Special Representative on Gender Issues. She was interested in gender equality issues in Serbia, participation of women in political life, as well as the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325: Women, Peace and Security.
