Seventy-Fourth Sitting of the Committee on Science and Technological Development

At the sitting held on 5 April, the Committee on Science and Technological Development considered the Activity Information on the Commission for the drafting of a study on the production of positron emission tomography (PET) radiopharmaceuticals.


At the same time the Committee adopted the Information on issues important for the production of positron emission tomography (PET) radiopharmaceuticals in Serbia, prepared by Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences.
State Secretary at the Ministry of Education and Science Prof. Dr Radivoje Mitrovic and Assistant Minister of Education and Science Prof. Dr Tibor Sabo, as well as the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences Physics Laboratory Science Director Dr Nebojsa Neskovic pointed out that the dispute between the Vinca Institute and Clinical Centre of Serbia relating to setting the location for the production of cyclotron radiopharmaceuticals remains unresolved.
The Committee on Science and Technological Development will request information from the Ministry of Health relating to the production of radiopharmaceuticals, and consider the conclusions on the topic at the next sitting, said Committee Chairman Srboljub Zivanovic.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Srboljub Zivanovic.
