Seventh Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 23 March 2023, the members Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the basis for negotiation and conclusion of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the organisation Multinational Force and Observers regarding the operation on the Sinai peninsula and the text of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the organisation Multinational Force and Observers regarding the operation on the Sinai peninsula, submitted by the Government requesting consent by the competent committee for the provisional implementation of the Agreement pending its entry into force.

On behalf of the Ministry of Defence, the basis for negotiation and conclusion of the Agreement was presented Colonel Nebojsa Svjetlica.

The committee accepted that the basis for negotiation and conclusion of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the organisation Multinational Force and Observers regarding the operation on the Sinai peninsula and the text of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the organisation Multinational Force and Observers regarding the operation on the Sinai peninsula, be provisionally implemented pending the Agreement’s entry into force.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairman Aleksandar Markovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Tomislav Jankovic, Milan Radin, Goran Milic, Haji Milorad Stosic, Marija Jevdjic, Borko Puskic, Djordjo Djordjic, Jasmina Obradovic, Miroslav Aleksic, Vladan Zagradjanin, Prof. dr Zoran Dragisic, Nikola Dragicevic and MA Igor Becic.
