Seventh Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 9 March 2021, the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Security Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the State of Palestine, submitted by the Government.

The Bill was presented by Zoran Lazarov, Assistant Minister of the Interior, who said that the Agreement was signed in 2020 and is aimed to a mutual strengthening of cooperation in the fight against crime, terrorism, illegal human trafficking and smuggling.

The Committee members decided, by majority vote, to propose that the National Assembly accept the Bill on the Confirmation of the Security Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the State of Palestine.

The Committee went on to consider the civic proposals it had received and forwarded them to be handled further.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Markovic, and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Ugljesa Mrdic, Marijana Krajnovic, Ivan Ribac, Srbislav Filipovic, Djordje Todorovic, Jasmina Obradovic, Dusko Tarbuk, Milovan Drecun, Justina Pupin Koscal, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic and MA Igor Becic.
