The Committee ascertained that the resignation tendered by MP Gordana Predic falls within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, and unanimously decided to submit a Report to the National Assembly proposing that it note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office.

The Committee also reviewed and gave positive opinions to the requests to assume another public office submitted by National Assembly Deputy Secretary General Branko Marinkovic and member of the Republic Electoral Commission Marko Jankovic.

The Committee went on to review the resignation tendered to the post of National Assembly Assistant Secretary General – Head of General Affairs Sector Svetlana Jovanovic, and after a debate the Committee members passed the appropriate Document of termination.
