Second Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 22 September 2022, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues, in line with the Government’s opinion, responded to the Constitutional Court regarding the initiative to launching proceedings to assess the constitutionality of the provision of Article 8a of the Law on Planning and Construction, Article 134 of the Law amending and modifying the Law on Planning and Construction, and Article 109 of the Law amending and modifying the Law on Planning and Construction.


The Committee went on to respond to the Constitutional Court regarding two initiatives to launching proceedings to assess the constitutionality of the provisions of Article 69, paragraph 3 of the Law amending and modifying the Law on Planning and Construction.

As item three on its agenda, the Committee responded to the Constitutional Court regarding the launched proceedings to assess the unconstitutionality of the provisions of Article 17, paragraph 4 of the Law on Financial Support for Families with Children.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dragan Nikolic, Milica Nikolic, Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Radovan Tvrdisic, Vesna Nedovic, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Sanja Lakic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Dr Zika Bujuklic, Nebojsa Cakic, Dejan Sulkic, Pavle Grbovic, Aleksandar Olenik i Olja Petrovic.
