Second Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 3 August 2022, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the resignation tendered to the post of MP by Ana Brnabic.

The Committee Chairman proposed to submit to the National Assembly a report that the said resignation falls under Article 131, paragraph 1, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which it is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office.

The Committee members adopted the report by majority vote.

As item two on the agenda the Committee reviewed the proposal to grant the Committee Chairperson the authority to pass undisputable certificates concerning the exercise of status and material rights of MPs and functionaries elected and appointed by the National Assembly. By majority vote, the Committee members granted the Committee Chairman the authority to pass undisputable certificates concerning the exercise of status and material rights of MPs and functionaries elected and appointed by the National Assembly

The sitting was chaired Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov.
