Second Meeting of Working Group on Broadcasting National Assembly Sessions
At the meeting held on 22 September, the Working Group on Broadcasting National Assembly Sessions discussed the Information of the National Assembly’s Project Team on the modalities of public radio and television broadcasting of National Assembly sessions and adopted conclusions regarding further activities.

The sitting was chaired by the Working Group coordinator, Veljko Odalovic, National Assembly Secretary.
As there are no legal conditions for the creation of a new television channel, so-called parliamentary channel, the working group members unanimously concluded to propose that RTS continue its live broadcast of National Assembly sessions as a provisional solution until the a digital television broadcasting system is introduced in 2012, providing the appropriate conditions to create a parliamentary channel.
It was also concluded to propose that, for the next meeting, to be held before the end of September, RTS prepare a detailed calculation of broadcasting costs for the remainder of the year, as well as a projection of costs for next year so that the necessary funds can be factored into next year’s
